Search Engine Optimization For Blogs

Do you like to add traffic to the blog you have? Say you've createdd your ad networks and all of the affiliate programs, rich and fresh content but there's a missing element to add revenue, and that is Web traffic. Unless and untill you have people surfing your blog and viewing the content, it is not possible to earn anything from your website or Blog. So here the need of Search Engine Optimization arises. Per day search engines send millions of web users to those websites in their index.

People have a problem with the idea of optimizing their blog as search engine friendly. Still an argument exists there, saying that rather than writing for search engines a blogger's sole focus should be for quality content. But the actual fact is both can be achieved without compromising either. Experts in the field divide search engine optimization techniques into off-site and on-site techniques.

Off-site techniques for Blogs are those which make links or viewers from other sites. This helps blog's ranking in search engines. The most simple and powerful offsite factors are Inbound Links. Quality content and blog or web-directories help you here. The on-site techniques should be there in your mind when you build the blog. The main things are your content should be keywords-rich, but don't sacrifice your users just for the seo sake, so it is important that your content and design are user friendly and helpful to readers.

Selecting the correct domain name and regular updations play key roles in Search Engine Optimization. It is a slow process and don't think that you can jump from a six digits rank to a better rank all in a sudden. So if you're not ranking well, hang in there, keep posting, keep working on quality content and work on the above factors without fail. As you do this it is sure to find that in some time your traffic is gradually increasing.

The fundamental understanding of Google™ PageRank™

According to Google, the PageRank given to a website suggests the website's importance, and is computed from sites linking to a page. For instance, if PAGE A has a text link to PAGE B then PAGE B will be ranked higher as PAGE A is "voting" for PAGE B. However, although it seems very straightforward, many different factors are considered while calculating the PageRank (see partial list below). The page casting the vote will also be scrutinized by Google.
Google analyzes the webpage that has the text link to another website and looks at several essential qualities of the webpage. For instance, one of the most beneficial quality is the PageRank of the webpage that has the link to another website. The higher the PageRank of the "linker", the higher the link will value. For example, if PAGE A has a PageRank of 5 and is linking to PAGE B. This link will be valued more as PAGE A has a high PageRank of 5. Whereas if PAGE A had a small PageRank of 2 then this link will not be valued as much. Another factor that is taken into consideration is the amount of links on a webpage. If PAGE A has only one link on the page, it will be valued much more than if it were to have five links on the page. Great listings need great SEO. We know promotion is more than the sum of its parts. A synergy of comprehensive search engine submission, creative optimization, and systematic market and site analysis is the engine behind all great brand placements.
